Marty comes to the Lazy Beagle in true Sullivan County fashion – “a friend of a friend has a cousin who knows this guy who is a great....” Born and raised in Sullivan County (specifically, Hasbrouck), Marty’s love of cooking began early. If you ask his mom, she’ll take full credit for this – but if you’ve ever tasted his food, you’ll know that his passion and veracity comes from his heart. Upon graduating from Sullivan County Community College’s Pro Chef program, Marty has worked at some of the finest establishments in Sullivan County and beyond. If you ask him what he loves to cook, he’ll reply, “Don’t ask me that.” The truth is that Marty can prepare just about anything. He’ll catch a fish on a sharpened stick, cook it over a campfire, and it will be the best damn fish you ever tasted. Marty’s creativity, ability, knowledge and stamina have made him a fundamental part of the Lazy Beagle Team.
